Rental is all day (9:15 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. | Lifts Run 10 a.m.- 5 p.m.) and includes elbow, knee, shin guards and mandatory helmet and insurance. Two day rentals are consecutive days.
Features and aluminum frame with a dual-suspension design. Fits most riders 5 ft. and taller. Between sizes? If you want a more dynamic and responsive bike, we recommend sizing down. For a more comfort and stability, we recommend sizing up!

Scenic Ticket w/ Basecamp Activity
Enjoy a day of scenic lift rides on Swift Current 6, Ramcharger 8, and Explorer (Uphill only on the Explorer Lift). Your ticket purchase gives you access to ride both of our lifts as many times as you wish throughout the day. |
Big Sky's scenic lift ride provides our summer visitors with a bird's eye view of the surrounding mountains. There are many trails on the mountain and around the area to enjoy. Passes or tickets are required for scenic chairlift access.
For Summer 2023, scenic lift access is scheduled from 10 a.m. - 4:40 p.m. daily on Ramcharger 8, Swift Current 6, and Explorer. Please note that while Ramcharger 8 and Swift Current 6 can be ridden up and down, Explorer can only be ridden uphill. From Explorer, we recommend taking the mile-long Huckleberry trail down the mountain. Construction zones will be marked on-resort and updates throughout the season will be posted on our website.

Scenic Lift Ticket Pickup
If you have selected to reload your RFID card, then there is no need to pick up a separate pass, your access will be loaded on to that Sky Card.
Pick up your tickets at our Sky Card Express Boxes on-resort. Sky Card Express pickup boxes are located outside the Mountain Services windows and the Basecamp office. Simply use the machine to scan the QR code in your confirmation email and it will print out your Sky Card loaded with your lift tickets. Tickets may also be picked up at the Mountain Services ticket windows. Please call (406) 995-5749 if you have additional questions. The Basecamp office is located at 50 Big Sky Resort Rd, Big Sky, MT 59716.
Rain Check Policy
All summer season dates are tentative and subject to change based upon weather, maintenance, repairs and/or other conditions. No refunds will be issued for closures or stoppages. Tickets that are unused may be eligible for credit towards another day in the same season if inclement weather prevented their use.
All tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.
Sky Pack 2 Bike Haul Pass
The Sky Pack offers 2 days of bike haul access|
Ramcharger is scheduled to operate 7 days a week from June 8th through September 15th. Swiftcurrent and Explorer are scheduled to operate Thursday - Sunday June 8th - June 30th and 7 days a week from July 1st - September 15th.
Passes or tickets are required for chairlift access to haul mountain bikes.
The Sky Pack and any additional discounted tickets are valid for the assigned guest only. The pass is direct to lift for the first 4 days of use. Stop by the ticket windows to add extra days AutoCharge your card for 25% off of the window rate for additional days.
