Be the first up the mountain with this exclusive, guided group experience. First Tracks & Everett's Breakfast is your chance to start your day in style.

Meet your guide at 7:45 am at the Mountain Sports office at the base of the Mountain. From there, you will head over to Ramcharger 8, the world's most technologically-advanced, and only 8-seat, heated bubble chair in North America. For the next 75 mins, you will have Andesite Mountain, and meticulous corduroy (or untracked powder if you're lucky) all to yourself. Your guide will lead the way to the best terrain of the day.

Bask in the glory of untouched slopes and stunning mountain views, then round out your experience with a gourmet breakfast at Everett's 8800. Breakfast features simple but hearty dishes to prepare you for the day.  There's no better way to start your day at Big Sky. Offered Wednesday-Friday.   

Please check into the Mountain Sports Office at 7:45 for check in. Arrive with all equipment ready to go.  

  • Lift tickets are required during lessons. Children 6 and under always ski free.   Students 7 and older need to purchase a lift ticket in addition to the lesson. 
  • A Big Sky RFID Card is required for all Big Sky Resort Guests

Headlamp Night Skiing

Mountain Village / A private night skiing experience like no other.  Fasten a headlamp and a guide will ski you down a variety of terrain at night. / Must be able to ski a Big Sky Blue Run. / Lesson time varies on time of year. / Offered Wednesday - Saturday / Price includes up to 7 participants. |

Big Sky Resort's new night skiing experience is unlike anything else in North America.  Your trip will start as the sun begins to set over Lone Peak and continues into the night, as countless stars illuminate the vast Montana sky.

Meet your private guide outside the Mountain Sports Office in the Snowcrest Building. They'll then take you to Ramcharger 8, Big Sky's new eight-seat chairlift with heated seats and a weather-proof bubble. You will be given state-of-the-art headlamps -- as powerful as a car headlight -- to fasten onto your helmets. These headlamps will illuminate your way down freshly groomed runs that you have all to yourself. Your guide will ski your party - up to 7 people - all over Andesite Mountain. Book this exclusive experience today and go home with memories to last a lifetime.


We recommend that all members of your party arrive at least 15 minutes early to sign Liability of Risk waivers and meet your guide. The start time of this lesson varies depending on the time of year. Please take note of the lesson time frames below:

February 16th - April 4th  |  7:30 - 9:30 PM 

Last Tracks Night Skiing is available Wednesday through Saturday. Skiers and snowboarders must be at or above level six. Arrive geared up with all equipment ready to go. Lift tickets are included in the price for all guests.

Our guided experiences are meant to show you the ins and outs of the mountain, cultivated for your level and tastes, but no full instruction. It’s the best way to explore America’s Biggest Skiing. |

Additional Persons Policy

  • If you are looking to ski or ride all around the mountain up through Double Black Diamond Terrain we cap groups at 5 participants per guide.
  • If you are looking to ski Managed Access terrain like the North Summit Snowfield or the Big Couloir, we recommend only 2 guests per instructor. Managed Access lessons must be booked for a full day due to the nature of the evaluation and sign out process with Ski Patrol. The max is 4 participants.
  • If you are looking to ski or ride double black, triple black, managed access terrain and are interested in hiking the Headwaters or A-Z chutes must be booked on a full day guide. The max of guests per instructor is 2.


Depending on your terrain goals your guide will equip you with avalanche safety equipment. Guided experiences meet on snow in front of the Mountain Sports School Office at the white flag that reads “Private Lessons”. Please arrive prepared with lift ticket and equipment.

Big Sky Resort's new night biking experience is unlike anything you've ever seen before.  Your trip will start as the sun begins to set over Lone Peak and continues into the night, as countless stars illuminate the vast Montana sky.

Experience the mountain in a whole new way.  SnoGo bikes apply the familiarity of riding a bike with the fun of sliding on snow.

Meet your private guide outside the Mountain Sports Office in the Snowcrest Building. They'll set you up with your SnoGo bike, then take you to Ramcharger 8, Big Sky's new eight-seat chairlift with heated seats and a weather-proof bubble. You will be given state-of-the-art headlamps -- as powerful as a car headlight -- to fasten onto your helmets. These headlamps will illuminate your way down freshly groomed runs that you have all to yourself.   • We recommended that all riders are a minimum 14 and older, 5’2” or taller, and a minimum of 100 lbs.
  • Helmet required 
  • Snowboard Boots are required (bring your own if you have them, we will provide them if you need them)
  • There is an additional fee of 20$ per participant in order to rent the SnoGo Bikes for this evening lesson.
  • Two guests cannot share one SnoGo Bike.
