Madison Base / Calamity Janes is a fun and exciting multi-week program for women at all levels. The program helps you develop new skills on all terrain while also meeting other local and seasonal women who ski at your level. |

Women's Program

A Thursday morning program at Madison Base offering six sessions over the course of a six-week period 1/2/25 through 2/6/25.

• AM Session | 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• Programs will not be prorated for those participants who attend fewer days than the package includes.
• Groupings of participants are made based on the skiing speed and fundamentals of the participant and the terrain they are currently skiing. Any requests for switching groups need to be coordinated through the program coordinator
• Max of 6 participants per group 
• Sessions will not be canceled due to bad weather or conditions
• Lift tickets are required during lessons
• A Big Sky RFID Card is required for all Big Sky Resort Guests
• Please add 4% tax

18 & older, Full Day Sessions / Master the Mountain is a fun and exciting multiple-week program that builds and renews friendships while developing new skills to enjoy more groomed terrain, powder, moguls, glades, and off groomed terrain. |

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Master the Mountain program offers 6 full-day sessions starting January 3/4, 2025 through February 7/8, 2025.  

• 9:30am - 3:30pm
• MTM programs will not be prorated for those participants who attend fewer days than the package includes.

AM Lesson / Skiwees is the first step in our progressive Youth Seasonal Programs. |

Skiwees is ideal for young skiers at all levels, from first-timers to little rippers. Our instructors specialize in early childhood development and create a strong start and a love for the slopes. 2024-25 session dates:

• First 6-Week Session (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday): January 4/5 - February 8/9, 2025
• Second 6-Week Session (Thursday, Friday, or Saturday): February 22/23 - March 29/30, 2025

Full-Day Lesson / Wolverines is for skiers ages 7 - 14 of all levels focusing on building technique. |

Wolverines focuses on developing solid technique across a variety of terrain and conditions. Does your child have an eye on our Rippers Program? Upper-level Wolverines groups work to develop skills foundation on lower-mountain advanced terrain.

Whether your child is learning the basics or building existing skills, the goal of Club Shred is to inspire a lifelong passion for snowboarding.

Full-Day Lesson / Big Sky Rippers is the pinnacle of our Youth Seasonal Programs designed for expert skiers and riders looking to progress their skills. |

Big Sky's most skilled instructors reinforce fundamental techniques and help students apply these skills to big mountain terrain. The program emphasizes teamwork, safety, and decision-making. Skiing at Level 9 is mandatory for this program. Tram access is included for Rippers on lesson days.

Please note that your Ripper is expected to ski/ride at Level 9 on the first day of lessons. This translates as your child comfortably skiing Marx or Cold Spring before entering the Rippers program. Avalanche gear will is required for all Rippers every day of the session. This includes a working beacon, pack, shovel, and probe that Rippers bring with them every weekend.

Full Day Lesson / This early-season focused session provides opportunity to build terrain park skills. |

Our new December Park Session is designed to build confidence and comfort within the park environment. This program focuses on developing movement patterns that support skills inside and outside of the terrain park. Whether your child is sliding on their first box or perfecting their 360s, we teach them the skills to improve safely.

2024-25 session dates:

• December Session (two full weekends): December 7-8 and 14-15, 2024

Snowboard Level 7: Riders who are able to maintain speed in blue moguls and powder.

Ski Level 7: Skiers who are parallel on ungroomed blue runs
